RRJ academy derived from the vision of our founder: Pawan Lohomord. In 2015, Pawan moved to Japan on a student visa- intending to learn Japanese. Through self-reliance and perseverance, Pawan took a job working as a hotel receptionist. He later went on to perform many corporate roles and odd jobs to fund his studies and survive. During this time, he overcame prejudiced environments and a strong language barrier. His goal was to prosper in Japan. He became a self-taught Software Developer. He now works for a renowned IT company in Japan. Today, people know Pawan for his popular Youtube Channel: Rom Rom Ji. He documents his experiences and shares his day-to-day life as an Indian ex-pat living in Japan. Pawan's struggle to adjust to life in Japan birthed a deep desire to help students in the same situation. His vision is to create a global community. An online institution that benefits its teachers and students. To serve those who want to connect with the world and thrive through learning languages.
