Rubicon Geological Consulting, LLC, was founded on the concept of utilizing geologists with professional and academic experience to provide both standard and specialized geological consulting, mudlogging and geosteering services to the petroleum exploration and development industry. Unlike our competitors, all of our operations staff (from managers to mudloggers and geosteerers) have a geology degree (BS degree or higher) with rigorous field training. Operating throughout the Appalachian, Illinois and Permian Basins, we understand and perform the services that we provide from both a site-specific and regional geological perspective. As such, we offer the opportunity to utilize our staff as an extension of your own. We strive to provide a wide variety of choices and flexibility from comprehensive to stand-alone services, providing our clients with "standard" packaged or customized solutions ranging from geosteering and mudlogging to prospect development, log digitizing services and analysis, and well pad and plan development. Our goal is to provide our clients with superior service, on time, within budget at industry-competitive rates.
