Ruby's Boutique is a women's accessory and apparel boutique located at The Landing shopping center in Westlake Village.The ideal candidate is energetic, fashion-forward, and detail oriented. A friendly and outgoing personality is a must! Since we are such a small company, each employee gets the unique opportunity to help buy and learn the ins-and-outs of owning a successful retail store. This would be a great job for someone majoring in business, communications, hospitality or anyone who has an interest in customer service! We are open 7 days a week and offer flexible hours with each day broken up into two 5 hour shifts from 11am-4pm and 3pm-8pm. Responsibilities:Stay up to date on inventory and product knowledge to provide customers with head to toe looks.Build relationships with customers.Greet all customers. Daily tasks include receiving new arrivals, merchandising, steaming, dressing mannequins, light cleaning and opening or closing the shopQualifications:Suggest pieces of outfits that would work well for each individual.Ability to give proper attention to more than one customer at any given time.Demonstrate skills to proactively handle customer concerns, complaints or issues and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong organizational and follow through skills.Must be a team playerHigh School diploma or equivalency certificate.Must be available to work weekends and have availability from 11am - 8pm at least 2 days during the week. Must have reliable transportation.
