Rui Ribeiro Studio is a boutique interior design firm specialised in creating well considered and measured interiors, custom furniture pieces, and furnishings for high-end residential clients and small luxury hotels. The Studio is committed to the design and realization of well crafted furniture and furnishings in collaboration with a select group of international artists, expert craftsman and makers' workshops. Consistently ranked among the top 100 UK leading interior designers, the Studio challenges conventional perceptions of interiors by exploring new relationships between art and design in contemporary living space and has been featured in House & Garden, Architectural Digest, Vogue and many other international design publications. The Studio aims to respond to a new generation of client for whom art and design have become an integral part of their international lifestyle and each project is shaped by responding creatively to the specific needs of individual clients and contexts. Our designs are rich in texture and detail creating modern and relaxed living spaces infused with style, warmth and ease.Born in Angola and raised in Portugal, Rui Ribeiro moved to London in 1992 to study interior design at London Guildhall University. In addition to his studio in London, In 2019 Rui will launch a new flagship showroom in Lisbon to showcase his new limited edition and one-off furniture pieces with unparalleled access to the rich craftsmanship and signature materials of Portugal re-envisioned in new and exciting ways. Rui Ribiero Studio also collaborates with international luxury brands to produce special editions of furniture, lighting, and accessories. While we approach each project collaboratively with the same dedication and attention to detail from concept to completion, we also consult independently with makers to ensure that precise and conscious design decisions are made at each phase of the manufacturing process in order to ensure a robust concept.
