Established in 2014, Rukmani Trust is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) set up by professionals from diverse fields. The Trust will focus on bridging the rural-urban digital divide in education using the power of technology to create an empowered India.Technology has transformed the delivery of education. The Covid-19 pandemic has further propelled the need to reinvent new ways to reach education online. The lack of infrastructure and resources have prevented communities in rural India to participate in this transformation.Rukmani Trust is taking up initiatives to partner with Technology providers, Educationists and NGOs, who share a similar vision to empower rural India and ensure inclusive education.The Board of Trustees come with years of corporate experience in diverse fields, with a vision to build a professionally managed NGO. In addition to pledging monetary support towards the initiative, the Trustees will ensure funding through corporate partnerships.
