Utrecht Track Meetings organizes 6 Athletics Track event every year. On summer evenings 600 participants come together from all over the Netherlands (and beyond) to run, jump and throw to the best of their abilities. The events are set-up in a unique way by creating a pleasant atmosphere together with the best conditions for good results. Because of the strong competition, many personal bests were broken at the Track Meetings.In 2014 a cooperation started with the Dutch Athletics Association (Atletiek Unie) to facilitate a platform for upcoming Dutch Paralympics talent. This has allowed Paralympic athletes to increase their experience and resulted already in many Dutch National Records.The organization exists officially 1998 and is a co-production of two Athletics Associations in Utrecht, being U-Track and Phoenix. Main sponsor Runnersworld Utrecht has proven to be a solid partner to the events.The organizational committee exists of 6 persons. At the events an additional 50 volunteers and officials are making the even happen.
