Farmers living in far off isolated households can now book their choicest goods at lowest prices and have them home delivered. We merchandise low cost goods which they order for by speaking to our sales executives on phone and referring through our catalogs. We have partnered with India Post to do deliveries to the farmers using their extensive post office network. We have learned about the aspirations and needs of farmers through our extensive outreach. Our beneficiaries are mostly (landless) farmers with an income level of 3,000-15,000 Rs./ month. For them, we enable savings of over Rs. 400 /order for our customers through our approach. We believe our approach will have significant economic impact through increased incomes for farmers, reduced inflation, increased savings, great satisfaction and material happiness for millions of families living in isolated farm holds across the hinterland.
