At Rydesafely, we've just raised our pre-seed funding from the prestigious Entrepreneur First (www.joinef.com) to tackle the hardest barrier to autonomy. This is the technical problem of validating when an assisted or autonomous driving system can safely be deployed in an Operational Design Domain (ODD) - or more specifically - scale to other ODDs with minimal efforts.This is a challenge that no player - not Waymo, nor Tesla nor the traditional automotive players - has solved for. It requires a tricky combination of unique technical IP, state of the art research methods, domain expertise and engineering best practice.
