Established in 2005, the organisation relishes the power of togetherness and strives to work among the Primitive Tribal Groups (PVTG's) in order to bring them into mainstream society through livelihood projects. In Keonjhar district of Odisha, SGF is working on clean energy access through solar lighting provisions and clean cooking solutions in collaboration with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi and Nexleaf Analytics, California, USA.With a committed team of 50 experienced professionals in energy technology, community development, watershed development and agriculture technology, SGF works with potential stakeholders including Government, civil society, donor institutions and funding partners to develop a model for energy service delivery in rural areas of Odisha.
