Our goal is to increase access to fresh, locally grown food. We want everyone in South Australia to be able to enjoy the benefits of healthy eating, increased skills and improved wellbeing, while also helping protect our precious land, water and soil.The idea behind our network began in 2016, with the groundbreaking Edible Adelaide event. Dozens of bright local and international minds came together to find new and creative ways to transform South Australia's urban landscapes into productive areas.From there, the SA Urban Food Network was born: a shared community vision for a regenerative local food system.If you're keen to be part of a movement that builds skills and initiatives for the health of our land and communities, the SA Urban Food Network is for you – we aim to act as that critical conduit and connector.
