Saakshar is an Indian youth-driven non-profit organisation which aims to help and develop the primary education of the deprived majority children of this country, by providing quality education with innovative methodologies by building communities of change.Saakshar is serving as a platform for young people to meet, learn, explore and grow their potential while creating positively inspired society for a better tomorrow. Give 2 hours a week for an academic year, educate and transform a class.Saakshar Organisation changemakers go to Primary Government Schools on Saturdays and teach the children using innovative methodologies. By teaching, we do not mean only Standard Textbook Syllabus, but we also mean useful Life Skills, which means Problem Solving, Leadership, Basic Arithmetic, Communication Skills, Informed Decision Making and so on.
