Sabancı Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği Topluluğu (IES) her akademik yıl içerisinde gerçekleştirdiği seminer, eğitim, tanıtım, şirket gezileri, şirket işbirlikleri, mezunlarla kariyer sohbetleri, IMIS ve diğer organizasyonlarla üniversite kültürünü zenginleştirmeyi ve öğrencilerin bilgi birikimlerini geliştirmeyi hedeflemektedir.Her yıl düzenlendiği etkinliklere katılım oranı, insanlara ulaşılabilirliği, sponsorluk bütçesi ve maillistindeki insan sayısına dikkate alındığında IES Sabancı Üniversitesi'nin en büyük kariyer kulübüdür. Bu etkinlikler ile öğrencileri sektörlerinde lider şirketler ile bir araya getirken, üyelerinin bu şirketleri tanımalarını, kendilerine en uygun sektörleri ve departmanları belirlemelerinde yardımcı olmayı, staj ve işe alım süreçlerinde üyelerine en iyi imkanları sunmayı hedefler.Industrial Engineering Society (IES) was established in 2002 by Sabanci University Industrial Engineering students under the name Manufacturing Systems Engineering Society (MSES). Later on, in 2009 the society changed its name to Industrial Engineering Society. As one of the most crowded and active club of our university, IES sets a good example for other university clubs by organizing succesful national and international organizations. IES' prominent mission is to gather industrial engineering students and other students who are interested in the study area of industrial engineering on a single platform and to improve their academic and social skills. For this purpose, IES has organized activities such as seminars, conferences, case studies, company visits, professional and personal development trainings, workshops and student – alumni getherings. Furthermore, IES collaborates with companies and departments of the University for various organizations.
