Founded in 2003 by Helen Tomei, an experienced travel industry professional and veteran traveler, Sacred Earth Journeys is a unique, award winning Travel Company specializing in Sacred Journeys, Wellness Travel & Yoga Retreats and Wisdom Teachings. Registered and licensed as a travel agency/tour wholesaler, Sacred Earth Journeys Ltd. is a government regulated company which subscribes to the highest possible ethical standards as required by the British Columbia Travel Registrar. Sacred Journeys programs offer opportunities to explore and connect with the spiritual energies and ancient traditions that exist at some of the most important Sacred Sites and Sacred Places around the world. Some of the destinations we visit are: Bali, Bolivia, Bhutan, Costa Rica, Egypt, England, France, Guatemala, the Holy Land, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Scotland, Sedona and Tanzania. Wellness Travel & Yoga Retreats programs give people the chance to escape from daily stresses, restore balance into their lives, and rejuvenate their bodies, minds and spirits. Some of the destinations we venture to are: Baja, Bali, Belize, Bhutan, Costa Rica, India, Maui and Mexico. Activities such as, Yoga, Kayaking, Meditation, Hiking and Photography can also be enjoyed throughout these relaxing and fun-filled holidays. Some examples of our Wisdom Teachings programs involve ancient rituals and ceremonies such as, greeting the sun at Machu Picchu, Peru, private meditations inside the kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid in Egypt, or a private ceremony within the sacred and ancient stone circle of Stonehenge in England. On many of our journeys we have the honor of meeting local wisdom keepers, traditional healers, Shaman, and other local experts to learn from their immense wisdom and knowledge. Customized group tours are also available for the destinations mentioned above.
