Our mission is to provide wellness and healing for Active Duty Military, Veterans, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, First Responders, and their families at no cost "through the saddle" of a horse.The Saddles In Service program offers Active Duty Military, Veterans, Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders the unique opportunity to explore their own healing alongside a rescue horse. Many men and women experience different stressors throughout their service to our Nation and communities. It is our goal to assist Heroes in their process of working through these stressors.Our program is a 6 phase program individually tailored to our Heroes needs, competence and availability.•Horse psychology & physiology•Grooming and horse care•Groundwork to establish a relationship with your horse•Riding in a controlled environment (round pen and arena)•Trail Riding•Advanced cowboy skills (i.e. roping, cattle work, and challenge courses)
