Founded in 1956, SAET has been operating for over fifty years as an electromechanical company in the energy field, including production, transmission and distribution of electric energy as well as automation solutions mainly for cement and steel industry.In the late '80s SAET became part of Techint Group, acquiring innovative working methods and capabilities, starting Turn-Key systems supplies, nationally and internationally.In 1993 SAET has been the subject of a management buyout by its directors who currently are the shareholders and have the management responsibility of the company.In 2003 SAET became VAR (Value Added Reseller) of General Electric for protection & control: it has the experience of more than 80 plants with integrated P&C. In 2005 it started to supply HV substation up to 420kV and it has realised more than 55 HV turnkey substations integrating power, protection, controls and civil works.In 2012 SAET approached energy storage market working as System Integrator of different electrochemical technologies for a total of hundreds of MWh installed worldwide on-grid and off-grid.Saet has been continuously developing its know-how, human resources and capacity. Today, leveraging its values and capabilities, Saet has evolved into a leading international EPC contractor, recognized for its reliability, flexibility and ability to develop higly customized solutions.In addition to the track-record in successful project execution, Saet pursues its development strategy and aims at expanding its business activities into new regional markets with growing energy needs.Thanks to the collaboration with the Chinese partner RXHK, SAET entered the Power Electronics sector with VSC solutions for the compensation of reactive power, which complete SAET's position as an ENERGY SOLUTION PROVIDER.In 2021 SAET became part of the Falck Renewables group, which controls 60% of the company.
