SAFE Planning (supporting access for everyone) examines ways to create a strong, connected, and disaster-resilient mobility network in the Parkrose-Argay neighborhoods of Portland, Oregon, as well as replicable criteria for future neighborhoods. We examine the existing conditions of the area, work with community members to determine key destinations and priorities, and provide recommendations to our client, the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). SAFE Planning is a group of graduate students at Portland State University.
