SafeHome is: • a nationally recognized HOUSING FIRST program. • A PROVEN model with over 140 families housed, 87% of which remain stable after the first year. • PRIVATELY funded by concerned citizens like you in order to minimize red tape in quickly locating and securing decent, affordable homes: • We maintain a database of safe, affordable housing from reliable landlords • We pay security deposit and last month's rent, typically a huge hurdle for families • We help "equip" a home with the basics, from beds to cooking utensils • PRIVATELY FUNDED in order to independently and objectively advocate for an end to homelessness through cost-effective and humane solutions
