Safer2TOUCH antimicrobial shields are produced with patented organosilane-based antimicrobial technology. This technology is EPA registered and approved with the FDA and USDA. How Typical Disinfectants Work: Typical disinfectants work like short-term poisons. When a disinfectant is sprayed on a surface, the surface is cleaned only for that moment and only where the spray has been applied. When the surface is exposed to new germs it becomes contaminated again. Additionally, hardier microbes can survive, mutate and flourish in the presence of these poisons. How Safer2TOUCH is Different: The technology in Safer2TOUCH creates molecular spikes that are long, pointed chains of atoms. These spikes are big enough to pierce the cell walls of microbes.
