Safety Brake Set Inc. (SBS)Was founded in 1989. Frank Williams, a former IBM executive and owner of a small trucking company, witnessed a serious accident that would change the focus of his professional life forever. The accident was the result of a "roll-away" vehicle in which the driver had failed to properly set the brake and secure the vehicle before exiting the driver's seat."The Safety Brake Set System was born."Frank began to utilize his talents as an inventor and a technician to create a system that could alert a driver that the vehicle's "Parking Brake" or " Emergency Brake" had not been set BEFORE completely leaving the seat.
