Safety Delta Netherlands (SDN) is a partnership between the Dutch (petro)chemical industry, scientific institutions, and the government. We aim to make the Netherlands the safest (petro) chemical industry in 2030.The partnership was established on October 5th, 2020. Parties recognize the importance of closecollaboration to improve the safety performance of the Dutch (petro)chemical industry. Not only is the ambition to be collectively number one in safety performance by 2030, but also to be internationally recognized as a leader in the development and implementation of safety concepts related to managing hazardous substances.SDN is currently in the start-up phase and works on:- easy access to ‘open source' information on safety tools, processes, and culture,- information on the deployment of (commercially available) technologies,- connecting specialists and practitioners, and- knowledge sharing about innovative safety concepts.
