Saffron Screen is an independent community cinema serving Saffron Walden and its surrounding area. We are based in Saffron Walden County High School and are open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with additional screenings in the school holidays, showing a range of mainstream, independent, art-house and children's films. We show films in a comfortable new 202 seat auditorium with a widescreen and full surround sound, and offer refreshments and free parking. We opened in May 2006 and in our first year welcomed 30,000 customers.
