about usSagastone is a family owned home based stone art and craft studio in Coquitlam British Columbia Canada. Gabriella is the stone carver, loves everything about art. She's educated from European traditions, carving her pieces the old school way, using only hand tools, mallet and chisels. Her favorite stones are Alabaster, Marble and soapstone. All her sculptures are a unique fantasy design mainly in Abstract and contemporary styles. Just like other " starving artist " she's carving lot's of figurines and home decor items to keep up with expenses, her best sellers are bears, what she just can't make enough. She also loves to design and carve custom ideas for request.Peter is a nature lover, started collecting stones as a hobby. When lapidary was introduced to him, there was no turning back. The Rocky Mountains became home and the place where all treasures can be find. Rockhounding became an everyday routine, on the fields and on internet as well for gems what can't be find around. He has over 3000 lb of raw stones, cutting polishing pendants and with the help of Gabriella silver setting theme.
