As a mission-driven organization, we support and uplift women, in direct response to the mental health impact of traumatic events, like the COVID-19 pandemic. WHAT WE DOUsing an arts-based healing centered engagement (HCE) framework:We cultivate partnerships with organizations committed to policy and systems change and promoting mental health and wellness.We train and coach professionals at the state and local levels, via virtual and in-person full-day and multi-day workshops, conferences and webinars, to address adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and build a trauma-informed and trauma-responsive workforce.We educate parents and caregivers, virtually and in-person, with parent education courses on strategies to reduce and prevent ACEs, promote social and emotional learning (SEL) and enhance parenting skills.WHY WE DO WHAT WE DOHealthy and empowered women can foster the changes needed to strengthen communities.
