Education Management - , Saint Michael, Barbados
In response to a need for relevant management skills and leadership knowledge training in the Caribbean region, the Centre for Management Development (CMD) was established in 1991. The institute was subsequently re-launched as the Cave Hill School of Business on June 14, 2006 as a modern organization founded on three pillars: Academic Programmes, Executive Development Programmes as well as Consultancies and Research. Although all of CHSB's Academic Programmes are accredited by UWI, the School operates autonomously, with all activities being conducted under the policy direction of an independent Board of Directors. CHSB delivers high-quality, cost-effective and competitive training as well as organizational development opportunities to companies in Barbados and the OECS. This is achieved by drawing on expertise from the private and public sectors as well as management training institutions and universities in order to ensure that the quality of our programmes remains top class. With state-of-the-art facilities and a vision of executive development, CHSB will continue to meet the needs of the global business community now, and in the future.
