Sakhyam is an initiative to transform the lives of unemployed and illiterate youth through the medium of vocational training and financial education.Multiple vocational training choices offered including carpentry, electric work, hotel management among others. Successfully impacted over 120 households and secured 100% placement opportunities for the 120 youth. Augmented incomes of the families by over 200% thereby impacting more than 500 lives.Won various awards for the initiative - - Best Documentary Award at ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival', - Best Documentary Award at ‘Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival'- Best Documentary Award at ‘Delhi Shorts International Film Festival' Sakhyam successfully delivered results for youth spread across 4 cohorts from 2013 - 2017
