Salt Air Designs offers a unique collection of cottage & coastal style home decor. Their custom color palette, distressed finishes & use of clean, simplistic designs elicit the calm of a lazy day by the shore. "The beach isn't just a place, it's a mindset and we love creating pieces that give you that toes in the sand feeling whether you live 1 mile or 100 miles from the coast!" Having grown up just minutes from several of Maine's beautiful beaches, founder Amy Sirois says the salt air is simply in her blood! After years of working for a large financial firm, she knew she had to take a leap of faith and pursue a more creative path. With partner Tracy Palm, she embarked on an inspiring 14 month adventure across the US in a tiny RV and then returned to her beloved state of Maine and launched Salt Air Designs. The company's products and furniture painting services embrace her coastal roots and the casual look that comes with living by the sea.As the business has grown, Tracy has become an integral part of it. Adventurous and free-spirited by nature, she left the mid-west for California after college because she had always been drawn to the ocean. Over the years, she honed her project management and operational skills working for prestigious companies such as Netflix, Johnson & Johnson and Nike. Joining Salt Air Designs full time in 2016, Tracy will apply that experience to managing the day-to-day business operations while Amy concentrates on the creative side.Together they are thrilled to make their coastal inspired decor right here in Maine!
