Salt Jewellery is an online jewellery store based in Cape Town, South Africa. The brand was born in 2015, when Adi Sutherland (owner and proprietor), in her final year of school, found herself designing and creating jewellery pieces in her spare time. When her customer base started to extend beyond friends and classmates, through word of mouth, Adi decided to make the business online official. The Instagram page quickly took off and is currently still where most of Salt Jewellery's sales take place. While many of the original designs are still on sale, Salt Jewellery has continually updated and developed its product range. The most recent addition to the catalogue is the delicate and playful ‘beaded range'. As a student business, Salt Jewellery's vision is to provide sophisticated and stylish yet affordable jewellery. All pieces are made and packaged with love in Cape Town, making them the perfect gift.
