Architecture Firm/Engineering Firm - Provo, UT, US
Born at the feet of the majestic Wasatch Mountains, Saltus Architecture + Urban Design is a team of architects, planners, and designers in pursuit of creating places and spaces that are meaningful, timeless and that are responsive to their unique sites and natural environment. Saltus approaches each design challenge with enthusiasm and optimism, transforming our clients needs and dreams in to reality. Saltus believes in a collaborative design approach with its clients, consultants, and within it's own studio, inviting each member of the team to contribute to the success of each project. Pursuing projects throughout the western United States, Saltus excels at projects located on sensitive sites with unique environmental characteristics. With an education and experience in environmental planning and ecological design, Saltus approaches each project with a holistic perspective, seeking harmony and beauty between the built and the natural worlds. Project types we pursue include community/neighborhood planning and design, mixed-use, light commercial, multi-family, restaurants, visitor centers, lodges, resort facilities, hospitality and recreation facilities, retail tenant-improvements, and single-family homes. With the additions of both Gary Kirschbaum and Rhett Stone to our team, we now have the expertise to design a wide variety of educational projects and multipurpose facilities. Our goal for each project is to provide a sense of place and meaning for its users and the community at large. Saltus firmly believes in fostering enduring relationships by providing excellent client service. Saltus believes in a design approach that seeks balance: balance between the clients ambitions and their budget, the balance of natural resources and each project's environmental impact, and balance for both beauty and function. We believe in designing with purpose, in improving and enhancing life's experiences through a more thoughtfully built environment.
