Salvaged started out as a simple Etsy shop, selling Sea Glass pulled straight from the sea and wrapped into pendants to promote cleaner oceans. But it has evolved into so much more. Beachcombing is a popular hobby and by no means is Salvaged the first of its kind--- but as the owner of Salvaged, I don't just walk the beaches collecting sea glass. I also snorkel depths up to 15ft to collect: sharp glass, forgotten or sunken toys, plastic, trash, lost gear from scuba divers, and more "treasures" than one can imagine. As the owner, I hope to promote cleaner oceans, but not just through pictures, like the @SalvagedSanDiego Instagram and Facebook, but also with video. The amount of pollution cannot be set aside... it must have a bright light shone on it, with headstrong, determined, passionate people behind it. Swim against the current and make a difference.Thank You.
