In 2010 a small group of enthousiast took the initiative to introduce SamenLoop voor Hoop (Relay for Life) in Helmond. With a great group of volunteers a succesfull event was realized in July 2011, followed by two, once more very impressive editions in June 2013 and July 2015. In total more than 3500 people participated, a multiple of that visited the event and nearly € 220k was raised for the Dutch Cancer Society. A solid base for a 2-annual event is established; an asset for Helmond and surroundings! \\In 2017 the fourth edition takes places on September 9th & 10th! Survivors are given special attention, and the ones who have passed are remembered.
