Samgatha is the annual cultural celebration of IIITDM Kancheepuram that started as a humble intra-college fest in 2011. Since then, it has grown leaps and bounds, as a festival radiating fun and enthusiasm, boasting of over 40 events spread across three remarkable days. Samgatha strives to provide budding artists and curious minds from across the country a competing platform to showcase their talent in diverse fields. Samgatha has experienced its share of incredible moments and epic wins and witnessed the presence of illustrious personalities such as King Siddharth, Poly Varghese, Drums Murali, Priyadarshini and Matt Bacon. As a youth oriented festival, Samgatha seeks to promote a positive change in the society and addressing social issues by underlying inspiring themes such as ‘Save Women', ‘Save India', ‘Swachh Bharat', ‘Make in India' and ‘Depression is curable'. It is a true testament to the invincible spirit and liveliness of youth!
