Located in Mouassine, a prime quartier in the Medina, where the best artisanal shops can be found, Princesse du Desert is part of a family of riads owned and managed by Samira Es-saf. With a total of 18 rooms, Samira Riads can accommodate large groups of up to 50 people, depending on the requirements. After 2 years of renovation, this four hundred-year old riad opened its doors under Samira's management on August 4, 2011. Princesse du Desert was the third of Samira Riads, following Zehar and Reves d'Orient, also located in Moussasine. Personally decorated by Samira, herself, Princesse du Desert is an oasis of beauty, warmth, and tranquility, just steps away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina, within a five-minute walk from both Place Jamaa El fnaa and Dar El Bacha. The riad is an alchemy of colors, textures, and shapes that fill the senses and make you feel at home. Each of its 7 beautifully decorated guestrooms offers a unique experience, incorporating traditional Moroccan décor, combining Marrachi and Fezi styles, influenced by Samira's family traditions. The riad also offers a restaurant, La Table de Samira, which showcases the best of traditional homemade Moroccan cuisine, as well as authentic Berber live music and belly dancing. The restaurant offers cooking classes as well. Samira also owns Rosa Bonheur, a top rated Hamman in Marrakesh, which provides the best in Moroccan style spa treatments. At Samira Riads, each guest is treated as a part of the family and is given a real taste of Morocco. Samira works closely with a highly rated local travel agency to offer her guests the opportunity to expand their Moroccan experience and explore other parts of her beautiful country. We invite you with open hearts to come experience Marrakesh with us and we hope you too will become a part of the family. At Samira Riads, you are always very WELCOME!
