Samudra is the root word for water. It refers to an ocean, sea, or confluence.Samudra's literal meaning is "A gathering together of the waters." The Vision - To connect the ocean, people, and data in ways thatuniversally serves the highest level of all involved. At Samudra, we are ushering the entire Ocean Economy into the emerging 'New Blue Economy.' This is the overlay of data and sustainability that envelops all industries that depend on the ocean to grow and thrive. On the commercial R/D side of our ecosystem, we create solutions around logistics from an environmental/sustainability, capital management and efficiency standpoint through the data you're seeing (and may not be seeing) and how to best create value from that within the industry and beyond. Our aim is to optimize the aggregation of data and facilitate the easy onboarding of entities to a blockchain-based data management platform that not only facilitates great cost and time savings but also easily enables the implementation of new and improved sustainability/pro-environmental standards within each industry.Currently in our growth stage, our approach will be focused on the global supply chain based within the ocean economy.
