In June, 2011 San Diego Fine Art Society rebranded as Art Pulse.MISSION:Art Pulse is dedicated to strengthening the health of the art community county wide. VISION:We envision a San Diego with a sense of its own cultural identity, with collectors, curators and citizens who seek out art by San Diegan artists, and a business community that looks for ways to embrace and reflect the visual arts culture of the community that keeps it thriving. We envision San Diego as one of the country's premier destinations for arts and culture.GOALS:Support and strengthen the role of art in neighborhood preservation and revitalization by encouraging city public art projects;Increase art experiences and opportunities for all members of the community through regional partnerships with the business community;Enhance the role of fine art in improving the quality of life for residents and visitors;Enhance the visibility and financial stability of San Diego fine artists through our efforts.
