San Diego Hall of Champions Details
The San Diego Hall of Champions proud to offer the Fantasy Baseball Educational Outreach Program to local schools. Entering it's third year of reaching students in grades 6 through 10, the program is once again being administered by author/developer Tim Scheidt and his distinguished team of Fantasy Baseball teaching experts. During the 2000-01 and 2001-02 school years, the program supported over 200 teachers from schools representing close to half of San Diego County's 43 school districts. All told, the program reached an estimated 13,000 students during this two-year stint. For the 2002-03 school year, schools from all San Diego County districts will be invited to participate with a goal of reaching over 12,000 students this year alone! The Fantasy Baseball Educational Outreach Program consists of several components including: * Program Orientation* Teacher Training Seminars* Instructional Materials* Program Implementation Support* Fantasy Baseball Symposium (for participating teachers)* Student Tournament All meetings/seminars are conducted at the award winning San Diego Hall of Champions' facility in Balboa Park. Cost for the entire yearlong program for participating teachers is only $25, which also includes a one-year membership to the Hall. Check it out and see all this program has to offer.
