Originally founded in 1961 by Dr. Michael McFadden as an amateur club in the local SFSFL, the San Francisco Glens have since grown into the largest soccer club in The City, with nearly 70 teams and 1,000+ adult and youth players. Our Pathway Pyramid ends with our first team in USL League Two and begins at the Under-5 level with youth teams in both national (MLS NEXT, USL Academy, NPL) and local (NorCal Premier, SF Youth Soccer) competitions. In the last three years, 31 Glens from that Pyramid have gone to play in college, sign a pro contract, or have been selected in the MLS SuperDraft. With our club's commitment to community service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a youth scholarship program that has never turned away a single family due to financial hardship, we're proud to be making an impact on the local soccer landscape on the field, while also developing the next generation of community leaders off of it through our various programs and partnerships. To learn more about the Glens, visit SFGlens.com and follow the club on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram—all using the handle @SFGlensSC.
