The San Marcos Foundation launches sustainable initiatives empower indigenous communities in the Solola region of Guatemala where roughly 70% of kids experience stunting due to chronic malnutrition. Our main project Un Huevo al Dia (One Egg a Day), is a nutrition partnership which feeds 3+ eggs per week to elementary school students as part of a healthy school breakfast. To make this program sustainable we have launched the first ever Community Hen Farm in San Marcos.
