Our products use a patent-pending* medical device technology which applies safe levels of magnetic fields to non-invasively stimulate the efficiency of the mitochondria for accelerating surgical tissue closure and bone healing. Benefits of magnetic fields were identified by Dr. Arthur Moss and others during his ongoing clinical research. Moss' researchers in the URMC Cardiology group observed that cells near the electrodes of an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) were more functional than other areas of the myocardium. Follow on research by Dr. Shey-Shing Sheu, a world leading expert in mitochondria, indicated that the effect was due to the magnetic field enhancement of mitochondrial efficiency and the mechanism was validated though cell level lab tests. Our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) application of this effect is achieved through the integration and packaging of precision magnetic components into form factors suitable for accelerated tissue closure and/or bone healing devices.
