Sandhills Fliers was formed in 2014 by several retired military pilots, an engineer, and a doctor. Their passion for sharing the gift of aviation with Fort Bragg's wounded warriors from USSOCOM's Care Coalition and the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) was the catalyst for what Sandhills Fliers is today. To date, Sandhills Fliers has enrolled over 120 students and is averaging 185 flight hours a month. Sandhills Fliers is an approved USSOCOM Warrior Care Program internship partner.
