Founded in Dubai in 2018, the company will be launching its flagship model, the E-Sport SUV Coupe, in 2022.It's In The Name:When Sandwaves was born, the company's founders didn't set out to make just another electric vehicle, they set out to make the best EV for its home environment, where extremely hot summer temperatures and sandstorms are common. Being an Emirati electric vehicle OEM based in Dubai, the name of the company had to represent the spirit of the United Arab Emirates. Hence the name – Sandwaves.Vehicle DNA:The Sandwaves vehicle DNA was formulated utilising the Technical Founder's experience in developing military and civilian special vehicles, resulting in a unique vehicle technical specification to ensure that the vehicle not only operates but excels in harsh environments and terrains. The Sandwaves flagship vehicle's strength lies in its superior ability to operate in harsh environments without compromising on performance, power, luxury, and range.Production:Sandwaves vehicles will be produced in a state-of-the-art EV factory located in Dubai Industrial City. With a total land area of 93,000 square metres and capacity to produce 55,000 vehicles on a single shift, this factory will be one of the largest EV manufacturing facilities in the Middle East.
