Making music videos, commercials, infomercials, documentaries, etc. Here's my story, short version. I was born and raised just outside Oslo, the capital of Norway. My father, Toralf Sandø, was an actor and film director and my mother was an actor and theatrical instructor. Still, my main interest as a child was music and photography. The big film interest only came many years later. I focussed mainly on music for many years, with photography as a hobby. I sang in choirs, studied music and started several bands, before I turned business man for a while. I founded Extract, a free CD distributed all over Norway. I got investors for this and developed it for a couple of years before I decided to end it, and started a music production company and label instead. After about 10 years I needed a break from the music industry and took up my photography interest and worked as a children photographer for a while, before I got bitten by the film bug. My interest in making moving pictures started when I accidentally made my own music video for my own album. This video was liked by another Norwegian artist, Eliksir (now Elin Synnøve Bråthen), who commissioned me to make her video, which ended up winning Exposure Music Awards 2008 for the best music video. After that I dedicated myself to film making.Check out my website for more info and examples.
