Founded in 2010, Santa Cruz Aquaponics is building a state-of-the-art Aquaponics fish farming and hydroponic greens growing facility on Casserly Road, six miles from the shores of Monterey Bay in South Santa Cruz County's Pajaro Valley. The completed facility will be 100% energy independent, using a combination of solar power and bio-decomposition technology to heat its greenhouse space and power its pumps. It is the mission of Santa Cruz Aquaponics to produce a Super Premium fresh Striped Bass and hydroponic true Watercress. Raised in a completely sustainable bio-balanced system, these fresh products will be the healthiest, most flavorful and nutritious available on the Northern California market.
