Created in 2014, Santa Fe Forward (SFF) is a non-profit civic engagement organization that builds power through community organizing, issue education, and campaign mobilization. We advance socially responsible policies and engage traditionally underrepresented groups – working families and young people. As a non-partisan organization, we choose issues purely by their progressive and transformative nature. Santa Fe Forward is an issue-based organization; once an initiative is chosen, we put our full force behind it. From its inception, Santa Fe Forward has seen its role as that of a facilitator for creating a vibrant and equal community. We believe that strengthening democracy – the hard work of talking to people about issues and motivating them to get involved – is the most effective way to fight for social change.
