Sapphire Yachts & Marine Services Pvt. Ltd was established with the primary aim of providing management and maintenance solutions to ship owners. The company commenced operations with turnkey management of large sized super-yachts and mega-yachts and soon acquired one of its sub-contracting companies specializing in ship repair since 1999. As a result, SYMS now boasts of having more than a decade of experience in the maritime field. The company is headed by highly experienced and qualified officers and technicians from the Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine and can boast of being one of the fastest growing companies in the field. The company is currently undertaking full refit of minor vessels inside the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai. The company is ISO 9001: 2009 certified conforming to the stringent standards of American Bureau of Shipping and is registered with Mumbai Port Trust. The key clients include Indian Navy, Great Eastern Shipping Co., Great Offshore, Sanghi Infrastructure, MEARSK, DSK Shipping, WARTSILLA, ISPAT Heavy Industries, HDIL and Galleon Shipping, to name a few. Our services include all engineering, electrical, underwater hull, shaft and propulsion system repairs along with complete upkeep and maintenance of minor vessels including private yachts. The company has two marine workshops in Dockyard Road, Mumbai, which are fully equipped to meet the current operations. A large sized workshop is being commissioned very soon to cater to the rapid increase in the volume of work. This workshop will cater for all major engine, hull, shafting and electronic systems repairs along with testing and tuning facilities for major systems. The workshop will be fully equipped with international standard state of the art testing and maintenance equipment.
