Sara Minkara is a pioneer for advancing authentic inclusion and acceptance of all people. She is an Advocate, a Disruptor, an Entrepreneur and a Change Maker. She believes that inclusion is a value for everyone, and that amplifying silenced voices and promoting robust respect for individual value makes people, families, organizations, and communities stronger. Sara is a Lebanese-American Muslim woman who lost her sight at the age of 7. She has focused her unwavering passion for empowering individuals with disabilities and advancing inclusion into innovative global programs including founding the international nonprofit organization Empowerment Through Integration (ETI). Additionally, Sara is a globally recognized keynote speaker, expert facilitator and thought leader in the fields of disability inclusion, international development, empowerment of marginalized people and authentic human connection. Sara is an alumnus of Wellesley College and received her Masters in Public Policy Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She was recognized as a Forbes 30 under 30, with a Clinton Global Initiative Outstanding Commitment Award and a Massachusetts Institute of Technology IDEAS Global Challenge Award. She also serves as a Disability Inclusion Advisor.
