Sarisbury Spartans was originally formed by Tom Peddell in the 2017/18 season as Meon Valley United and originally started in Division 6 of the City of Southampton Sunday Football League. After an inital season the club merged with AFC Burridge becoming the Reserve side for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons. While part of AFC Burridge we were awarded the Charter Standard Mens Adult Club of The Year 2019.With a new look management team and numerous new players the decision was made to breakaway from AFC Burridge and start afresh. With such a popular decision being made to breakaway and interest coming in, the decision was made to add a reserve team. Both teams compete in the City of Southampton Sunday Football League.Sarisbury Spartans now boast UEFA B level coaches along with "State of the Art" coaching software and facilities that have helped develop players into Semi-Pro teams.
