Sasha Meret Design encompasses a wide range of techniques and styles, alternating between figuration and abstraction in search for a balance between ideas and emotions. The collections embody a more conceptual component materialized in what we call "walkable sculpture". This new venture into the realm of fashion utilizes found objects, including plastic spoons, knives, and forks built upon a sculpted frame of woven wire mesh. Each piece is meticulously handmade in the artist's New York studio. In this way, Meret creates shimmering, spherical art pieces you can take with you everywhere. Meret's goal is to make the wearer of his work more than just a vehicle for the art, but part of the exhibition itself.
