Our Mission, "To Reduce the Occurrence of Disabling Conditions in Children" along with our slogan "Our Goal is Healthy Children", help guide the Institute's work. We believe that all children, regardless of their abilities, have the right to be as healthy as possible. Prevention programs and services are provided to parents, future parents, students, professionals, community groups, and the general public. The Prevention Institute is strongly committed to networking and partnering in projects that further prevention efforts, and actively pursue linkages to ensure a coordinated approach to prevention planning.
