The Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision covers 29 counties in southeast Georgia and is a fully accredited, community facility providing vision rehabilitation services to blind or vision impaired individuals of all ages. The mission of the Center is to offer comprehensive services that promote dignity, independence, and confidence to those who are blind or visually impaired. All services are customized to meet individual and personal goals and support the adjustment required by vision loss. Services include: Low vision Services, Vision Rehabilitation Therapy Services, Orientation & Mobility Services, Assistive Technology Services, Youth Services, Social & Peer Support Services, and Job Readiness Services.The Center is a proud partner of the City of Savannah's Community Partnership Program that offers free vision screenings to those in Chatham County's underserved areas. Vision screenings and food drives are held once a month to help those in need.
