Save Industrial Heritage is a cultural association, based in Bologna, engaged in preserving and spreading the industrial heritage and culture. This platform aims to valorise industrial culture and heritage on a local, national and international level. This is being achieved with the following activities: -Historical research trough books, archives and interviews. -Organising local, national and international meetings, seminars, exhibitions and events on the theme of industrial heritage. -Facilitating the development of industrial tourism creating itineraries and guided tours. -Collaborating with educational institutions on the themes of industrial heritage, archeology and culture. -Creating awareness about restoration and re-use of abandoned heritage. -Facilitating the conservation of industrial heritage, offering consulting regarding mapping and design processes. -Scientific consulting regarding mid and large range projects regarding industrial heritage culture. -Participating to regional, national and european network and projects. -Professional training in the field of industrial culture.
